Abstract
GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
General Information
- Submission Portal: Abstracts must be submitted through the designated online submission portal. Submissions via email, or post will not be accepted.
- Language : All abstracts must be written in English.
- Submission Deadline : The deadline for abstract submission is 31st December 2024. Late submissions will not be considered
Abstract Content
- Originality: Abstracts must present original research or innovative practices in diabetes care. Previously published work or work presented at other international meetings is not eligible unless it includes significant new findings.
- Word Limit: Abstracts should not exceed 300 words, excluding the title and author information.
- Structure : Abstracts should be structured with the following sections:
- A. Title: Concise and descriptive
- B. Background**: Brief context or rationale for the study.
- C. Objective**: Clear statement of the study's aim.
- D. Methods: Description of the study design, participants, and analytical methods.
- E. Results: Key findings with relevant data.
- F. Conclusion: Implications of the findings and potential impact on diabetes care.
Authorship and Ethical Standards
- Authorship : The submitting author must ensure that all co-authors agree with the content and submission of the abstract.
- Conflict of Interest : Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
- Ethical Compliance : Research involving human or animal subjects must comply with ethical standards and approvals must be obtained
Review and Notification
- Review Process: All abstracts will undergo a peer-review process by the conference scientific committee.
- Notification: Authors will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of their abstracts by 31st December, 2024. Accepted abstracts will be presented in either oral or poster sessions.
Presentation
- Format: Accepted abstracts will be assigned to oral or poster presentations. Specific guidelines for each format will be provided upon acceptance.
- Registration: At least one author of each accepted abstract must register for the conference by 31st December, 2024
Awards and Recognition
- Awards: Outstanding abstracts may be eligible for awards. Details will be provided upon acceptance.
